Hub SoMa Weekly Roll Up: Lunch…Hub Style

Hey Hubbers,

Some of you may remember the 4th of July picnic on the roof last year. I think you see where this is going. The Noon Edition is open for all tenants. To access the roof top deck, please find the stairwell out the back door and take it all the way to the top. Please direct any questions to the Hosts who are more than happy to guide you.

Today, many of you were privy to the new dawn of Sexy Salad at Hub SoMa. Every Tuesday from here on, we will be receiving a vegetable box from Albert and Eve. Albert & Eve Organics, is a CSA modeled organic home delivery service that allows those who are passionate about organic eating to directly connect with and support their farmer counterparts. Now, Hub members have the option of having a vegetable box delivered to them here at work or to their homes every Tuesday. Not only that, we will be serving up the box in an easy creative way (cause…you’ve seen our “kitchen” right) so you can take that knowledge home. We know how busy you all are, so, we’re thinking about this one for you!

Please join fellow Hub members for this Pot Luck Lunch. As evidenced by today’s turnout, the food will go fast. So bring your dish and we’ll have a great lunch together.

Additionally, on Tuesday, April 19, we will be holding the Part 2 of our Collaborating for Change Workshop series. Join Itzel Damaris graduate of BayNVC’s Committed NVC Practitioners Program, as we explore how we can accomplish our goals while relating to each other in a way that maintains alignment with our values. RSVP here:

Of everyone who reads this, I like you the best.

“It was humbling to walk in and meet with some of the top lighting designers in the Bay with just my concept drawings. They’d ask, ‘Where’s your prototype?’ and I didn’t have one. I wanted to ask first, build later. I listened to their input, and they told me exactly what they needed, but couldn’t find. I needed a 75 watt incandescent equivalent not a 40 watt, so I put 16 LED’s into our light and just fought to get the price down. Now we have it– we did it.” Continue reading →
