Hub Berkeley Weekly Roll Up: Relationships

Connecting People.

Encouraging collaboration, facilitating a collision of ideas, building connections. Great things happen when these things occur between our Hubbers. Great relationships are made.

And the Hub Staff is also chipping in to get Hubbers more connections and value. For example, sweet discounts (we now have a great partner in Chinook Book -Formerly EcoMetro Guide – Hubbers get a 50% discount off their books, so look out for how to order soon!), VIP treatment  (Story of Stuff will be hosting a Story of Electronics Sneak Peek next Tuesday at Hub Berkeley. Look out for the RSVP link!), and awesome debates (I hope you’ve registered already – bit.ly/DebateFairTrade).

More relationships and connections > Stronger Network > Greater Positive Impact.

If you know any people that we should connect with outside of the network, ping me. Let’s encourage collaboration and facilitate idea collisions together.

It’s Getting Cold!

Have you heard acronyms like IRIS, GIIRS, SROI, B Corp, Pulse, Social E-valuator? They are all part of an emerging ecosystem of social impact measurement tools and practices. But how they relate and what it all means for your organization’s need to prove impact is murky.

This webinar will help clear the waters so you can understand what these new tools and resources are and how they can be used to your organization’s advantage.

Join nonprofit expert Paul Lamb and impact management guru Sara Olsen as Paul interviews Sara about what the alphabet soup spells for mission-driven organizations and funders.
