Hope you saved some energy, because it’s another exciting week here at the Hub.
Wednesday December 16th: Holiday Extravaganza
Not to be outdone, the Hub is hosting it’s own holiday party. We hope all members will join us from 12-1:30 for a celebratory potluck. Later that afternoon, we’ll mingle with other change agents at the David Brower Center’s holiday party from 3-4. As always, you can find more information about the parties and all events at our Hub google calendar.
Then you might as well just camp out at the Hub, cause Thursday is going to be a doozy you don’t want to miss!
Thursday December 17th: 12-1 Brown-Bag Lunch: Extreme Community and Resilience Planning
How do local communities transform themselves into active instruments for building local resilience? Cliff Figallo, a co-founder of two groundbreaking social experiments – The Farm and The WELL – invites you to join him in a conversation about new perspectives on preparing for rapid and radical change in the places where we live. This brown-bag promises to be an exciting and relevant way to spend a Thursday lunch.
Thursday December 17th: Legal Huddlle with Hanson Bridgett Law Firm
Once again Hansen Bridgett are openning their doors to offer free legal services to hub members. Please e-mail the hosts if you would like to sign up for a 30 minute consultation slot between 4-6 (firstname.lastname@example.org). Then stick around from 6:30-8:30 for complementary hors d’oeuvres while Arman Javid, Attorney at Hanson Bridgett and Craig Flas, Founder and CEO of Good Things Green, lead an interactive discussion on “Negotiating term sheets for convertible notes and equity investments.”
These legal huddles are always popular, so please RSVP HERE!
Tis the season!
